This new application represents a significant advancement in remote DJ equipment management, offering comprehensive control over DJM-A9 mixers and CDJ-3000 players within a PRO DJ LINK network directly from an iPad. Its functionality facilitates more efficient event setup and operation by allowing DJs and technicians to monitor system parameters and make adjustments remotely, thereby enhancing overall performance reliability.

Prior to an event, users can utilize Stagehand to review and modify utility settings, streamlining the preparatory process. During live performances, the app provides real-time monitoring of mixer and player activity without the need to access the booth physically. This includes oversight of volume levels, operational status, and detailed information such as beatgrid, BPM, and timing details critical for synchronized lighting effects. The inclusion of a dedicated Live mode further minimizes the risk of accidental interruptions by disabling certain control features during performances.

Stagehand offers a free 60-day trial and is available for download from the App Store for compatible iPads. Users should ensure their devices are updated to the latest firmware for the mixer and players, which can be obtained from Pioneer DJ’s support resources (<a href="https://www.pioneerdj.com/support/software/">https://www.pioneerdj.com/support/software/</a>). Compatibility is optimized with devices equipped with an A12 Bionic chip or newer.

Engaging Live mode during performances disables control features temporarily, reducing the likelihood of accidental disruptions.</li>
<li>Status Monitoring: The Status screen provides a comprehensive overview of critical system information remotely—covering utility settings, volume levels, and other operational parameters—enabling quick troubleshooting without physical booth access. It also displays playback information from CDJ-3000 units for continuous oversight.</li>
<li>Waveform Visualization: DJs can view real-time waveforms along with beatgrid, BPM, and timing data directly on the iPad screen. This feature supports the creation of synchronized lighting effects by offering detailed auditory insights and allows users to share music information through personal rekordbox accounts with customizable privacy settings.</li>
